Go Tours Hawaii · Waikiki
Go Tours Hawaii's full-day loop with the longest Waimea Valley stop on Oahu, enough to walk to the falls and back without rushing, entry paid. Book it if the waterfall is the point of your day.

Most loops give Waimea Valley 30 minutes or skip it. This one gives it 90 minutes. The paved trail to Waimea Falls is about three-quarters of a mile each way through the botanical garden, so you can walk in, swim if it is open and walk back without watching the clock. Entry ($26 adult in 2026) is paid. Everything else is short, mostly 20 minutes: Diamond Head, the Halona Blowhole, the Nuuanu Pali Lookout, Tropical Farms (30), Kualoa and Mokoli'i (20 and 30), Kahuku Farms, the North Shore, Sunset Beach, and 30 at Dole.
Swimming is never a sure thing. Waimea Valley requires a life jacket (lent free) and its lifeguard decides at 9 AM each day whether the pool is open; Go Tours adds that it depends on the falls flowing. The valley is closed on Mondays. Meals, drinks, a swimsuit and a towel are on you, and the listing asks you to bring cash for lunch and tips.
There is no hotel-door pickup. You walk to one of six points, from the Ala Moana Hotel at 6:50 AM to the Twin Fin trolley stop at 7:20. Hanauma Bay, Makapu'u, Kualoa Ranch, Pipeline, Laniakea and Pearl Harbor are all on the listing as drive-bys. The listing counts 12 stops; one is the Waikiki pickup.
Ala Moana Hotel first, then Hilton Hawaiian Village, Ka La'i Waikiki Beach, Ross on Seaside Ave, the Hyatt Regency and the Twin Fin trolley stop.
Twenty minutes each at Diamond Head, the Halona Blowhole and the Nuuanu Pali Lookout. Hanauma Bay and Makapu'u pass by.
Thirty minutes at Tropical Farms, then Kualoa Regional Park and Mokoli'i, 50 minutes between them.
Twenty minutes at Kahuku Farms, then the North Shore and Sunset Beach. Lunch is bought along this stretch.
Ninety minutes in the valley: garden paths, the falls, and a swim if it is open that day.
Thirty minutes at Dole Plantation, then back to Waikiki past Pearl Harbor and downtown.
★★★★★Great overview of the island, including scenic view points, a local lunch and ice cream, and swimming in a waterfall.
★★★★★Felt completely safe as a solo traveler and met great people. Driver Eric was fantastic and so was my guide. All phenomenal views on the bus ride and excellent stops for food and souvenirs.
★★★★★Our driver/tour guide Ray was wonderful. Lots of local knowledge. At the Dole Plantation, get the Pineapple whip ice cream, so good!
★★★★★There are spots that our tour guide took us that I probably wouldn’t have seen.

Often, not always. Swimmers must wear a life jacket, which the valley lends free, and the lifeguard decides each morning whether swimming is open. Low flow in dry months can also stop it.
Ninety minutes, the longest of any circle tour we list. E Noa's lunch tour gives the valley 30.
No. You meet the bus at one of six Waikiki and Ala Moana points, with pickups from 6:50 to 7:20 AM.
Waimea Valley is closed on Mondays, so the waterfall stop cannot happen that day. Book Tuesday to Sunday.
