The Pineapple EXP · Waikiki

Circle island in a 13-seat van

The Pineapple EXP fits no more than 13 guests in a van, which means quick boarding and more say in the day than a coach allows. Pick it for the small group and the hour of snorkeling on the North Shore.

Small-Group Circle Island Tour in a 13-Seat Van

About this experience

Small van, same island. Diamond Head gets 10 minutes, the Halona Blowhole and Makapu'u Point 15 each, the Nuuanu Pali Lookout 20. Then the North Shore takes the heart of the day: a 35-minute beach stop and a 60-minute snorkel with gear provided. Haleiwa (15), Dole (20) and the North Shore Macadamia Nut Company (15) fill the rest. Hanauma Bay, Sandy Beach, Waimea Bay and Sunset Beach go by the window.

Pickups are strict: Waikiki and Ala Moana only, starting at 7 AM, earlier (around sunrise) in winter, and the driver sets the final time. Staying at Ko Olina or an airport hotel? You have to get yourself to a Waikiki hotel first; drivers can point you to free parking if you email ahead. Water is included, lunch is not, so plan to buy food on the North Shore.

A date note: the upper viewing area of Makapu'u Lookout is closed for repairs from 21 October to 4 November 2026, per Hawaii State Parks, so that 15-minute stop may move or shrink for those two weeks. Guests report flexible guides who add unexpected stops, which is far easier with 13 seats than with 50.

  • 13 guests at most
  • 60 minutes of North Shore snorkeling, gear included
  • 20 minutes at the Nuuanu Pali Lookout
  • Bottled water on board
  • Free parking tips if you drive in to Waikiki
